Our client is a leading Australian homeware retailer with several brands under management with over 200 stores throughout the nation. They are seeking an energetic, professional and hard-working individual with prior retail industry experience to join their head office on a full-time permanent basis as a Planning Analyst with plenty of room for career growth.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Head of Planning, you will support the development and execution of the merchandise strategy through the management of Replenishment and Allocation of stock to store.
Responsibilities:
Build and maintain weekly Replenishment
Manage the alignment of Replenishment in line with the Merchandise Strategy, along with providing insights and analysis to the Planner & Buyer
Determine Promotional Distribution for stores to support the buyer sales at an article level whilst supporting Visual Merchandising
Deliver accurate reporting in a timely manner
Ensure correct balance of stocks at a store level that is driven from the statistical forecast and relevant inputs that are being entered into the Replenishment file
About You:
Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills with the ability to perform functions such as V-Lookup, Pivot tables, etc. is ESSENTIAL
MUST have previous retail planning experience
Passionate about retail, numbers, and analysing data
Working knowledge of merchandise systems, preferably Pronto
Ability to work within a fast-paced team and autonomously as needed, while maintaining accuracy
Strong communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to deal directly with internal and external stakeholders
