About the Role:
Are you an energetic and customer-focused individual looking to join a leading retail organisation? Our client is a leading Australian supplier of quality air conditioning equipment and refrigeration components in which they are seeking an active Counter Salesperson to join their team in Truganina VIC. This role will primarily involve assisting customers with their purchasing needs while providing an exceptional service.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Providing friendly and knowledgeable assistance to customers at the sales counter
- Greeting and welcoming customers as they enter the store
- Answering customer queries and helping them find the products they need
- Completing sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintaining a clean and organised sales counter area
- Adhering to company policies and procedures
- Supporting the wider retail team as needed
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience in a customer service or retail sales role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent numeracy skills and attention to detail
- Enthusiasm, flexibility and a positive attitude
- Availability to work a casual schedule, including weekends and public holidays
