Our client is Australia's leading recycling and packaging company. Due to growth within the business, they are in need of experienced Machine Operators and Forklift Operators to join the team on a casual ongoing basis with a view to permanency for the right kind of candidates.

Grab Forklift Operator - Night Shift - $46.39 per hour + superannuation

Duties:

Loading and unloading trucks with the use of a single tine forklift with counterbalance and high reach experience
Unloading inbound containers using a slip sheet / push-pull forklift
Move paper reels using a (grab attachment), and palletised empty aluminium cans from trucks to warehouse
Assist with the programming of AGV forklifts
Input incoming delivery data into SAP systems
General housekeeping of the warehouse
Position primarily involves working in the slip-sheeting area
Handling bags of flour (manual lifting of up to 22.3kg)
Wrapping and sorting pallets.
 

To be successful in this role, applicants must have:

Valid LF licence and minimum 2 years’ experience in counterbalance as well as high reach and slip sheeting
You will have availability to work full time hours
Physically fit and able to perform repetitive tasks
Experience with AGV forklifts advantageous not necessary
Positive attitude with the desire and ability to learn
Proof of a stable, reliable work history with minimal to no days off
Immediate and full availability to work
Clean police record
Able to pass a drug and alcohol test as well as random onsite testing
