Hours: 27–30 hours per week, 4 to 5 days a week, Monday–Friday
Location: On‑site in Melbourne city, short walk to major public transport hubs
Part‑time Travel Coordinator / Travel Manager — 27–30 hours per week, on‑site in Melbourne city. Work for a major national retailer supporting merchandising and management teams.

Key responsibilities

Manage bookings: Book and amend flights, accommodation, visa, ground transport and transfers for multiple travellers.
Itineraries: Prepare clear, consolidated itineraries and travel packs for merchandising and management teams.
Policy & compliance: Ensure all travel complies with company travel policy and approval workflows.
Supplier liaison: Negotiate rates, maintain supplier relationships and manage bookings through travel platforms.
Budget & expenses: Prepare travel budgets, reconcile expenses and support month‑end reporting.
Risk & changes: Manage last‑minute changes, travel disruptions and travel risk communications.
Record keeping: Maintain accurate travel records, reporting and travel dashboards as required.
Stakeholder support: Work closely with merchandising, operations and HR to prioritise travel needs and approvals.
Essentials:

Experience: Minimum 2 years corporate travel coordination or travel management experience.
Systems: Proficient with online booking tools and expense platforms.
Skills: Strong stakeholder management, excellent written and verbal communication, high attention to detail and time management.
Attributes: Calm under pressure, proactive problem solver, ability to prioritise competing requests.
Desirable: Retail or merchandising travel experience; experience negotiating supplier rates; valid Australian driver’s licence.
