Initial 12-month assignment (w/ a view to permanency after review)
A leading logistics operation is experiencing continued growth and is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to take ownership of daily operations, people leadership and performance outcomes at a high-volume Yatala facility.

This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who can manage people, resources and processes to deliver safe, efficient and cost-effective distribution outcomes while meeting customer and operational KPIs.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily warehouse and distribution operations
Conduct toolbox talks and set daily operational priorities
Lead, motivate and performance-manage operational teams
Plan and manage labour, vehicle and equipment requirements
Ensure KPIs, SLAs and safety standards are consistently met
Develop and deliver training plans to build a multi-skilled workforce
Oversee payroll sign-off (Kronos) and operational reporting
Drive continuous improvement and process optimisation
Investigate incidents, service failures and implement corrective actions
Liaise with production, customer service and other internal teams
Skills & Experience
Certificate or qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain or related discipline
Relevant industry experience considered in lieu of formal qualifications
Proven experience in a supervisory role within logistics, warehousing or distribution
Strong people leadership and communication skills
Computer literacy and warehouse system experience (RAMCO)
Solid understanding of KPIs, cost control and operational efficiency
High attention to detail with strong administration capability
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Forklift licence desirable but not essential
