About the Role:
As Project Officer, you’ll be responsible for managing multiple projects end-to-end, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standards. You will liaise with designers, suppliers, contractors, consultants, utilities and internal stakeholders to achieve functional, financial and community objectives.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage assigned capital works projects from design through to construction completion
- Prepare tender and quotation documentation and oversee contract administration
- Provide technical advice, risk management and project reporting
- Coordinate stakeholders, including government agencies, contractors and consultants
- Monitor budgets, schedules and performance against project milestones
- Ensure strong customer service and effective communication throughout each project
Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications in Building Construction or Project Management, or extensive related experience
- 2–5 years’ experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- WHS Construction Induction Certification (White Card)
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project)
- Experience delivering projects within a government or community environment
- Excellent communication skills, strong stakeholder management and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
