Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Health and Wellbeing Business Partner to lead the delivery of innovative, inclusive and impactful wellbeing initiatives across the organisation. About the Role
Reporting to the Chief Safety Officer, you’ll take the lead on implementing and driving the Mentally Healthy Workplace Strategy while shaping and delivering health and wellbeing programs that focus on the physical, mental and emotional wellbeing of people within the organisation.
You’ll work closely with teams across People & Culture, Safety and Workers Compensation in playing a key role in building a resilient, safe and sustainable work environment.
Duties & Responsibilties
- Lead the coordination and execution of our Mentally Healthy Workplace Strategy
- Design and deliver engaging health and wellbeing programs, workshops, and campaigns
- Provide expert guidance on complex psychosocial and mental health matters
- Develop policies, procedures, and content to support employee wellbeing
- Analyse wellbeing data and insights to inform strategy and improve outcomes
- Maintain and update our psychosocial risk management dashboard
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders, including unions, health providers, and leadership teams
- Champion a culture of care, inclusion and psychological safety
Requirements
- A tertiary qualification in Psychology or a related field
- 4–8 years of experience in a health and wellbeing, psychological safety or injury management role
- Demonstrated success in delivering large-scale wellbeing initiatives
- Strong data interpretation and program evaluation skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities
- A Master’s degree in Psychology (ideally Organisational Psychology)
- Experience within a government or local council environment
